1A and 1B: Math Homework

Dear Parents,

For math homework today, please have your child log into IXL and complete at least 10 problems from Lesson R.2 in Level B and 10 problems from Lesson O.1 in Level C.  These lessons focus on identifying the names and values of common coins. Please remind your child to log in using his/her username and password before beginning.

In addition, tomorrow we will be celebrating the conclusion of our unit about money by shopping in our First Grade Store! Please have your child bring an assortment of pennies, nickels, and dimes that add up to twenty-five cents to buy items from our store.  It will be wonderful practice for your child to count out the correct amount of money at home.  At the end of the activity tomorrow, all of the money will be donated to the BPY Scholarship Walkathon.
