1A and 1B: IXL Math Homework

Dear Parents,

I am pleased to share with you an exciting math resource that we are making available to our students this year. IXL is a comprehensive math review site with an unlimited number of practice questions covering many different skills. In addition to making math practice exciting, IXL is designed to help your child learn at his or her own pace. The website is adaptive and will adjust to your child's demonstrated ability level. IXL provides feedback on your childs progress directly to me, so that I can plan my classroom instruction accordingly.

IXL can be accessed on a computer, iPad or tablet. Below you can find the links for the directions.

Our class will begin using IXL as part of our regular math homework routine beginning tonight. For tonight's math homework, please have your child log on to the IXL website and access the Level C, Lesson D.15 Complete the Subtraction Sentences. Your child should complete at least 10 problems, but can do more if he/she chooses.

If you have any questions about using this program with your child, please feel free to contact Morah Shira at shiraa@benpoatyosef.org or Morah Stephanie at stephanieg@benporatyosef.org

Warmly,

Sharon
